Lost River produce beef comes from Black Angus & Murray Grey steers, our average carcass weight is 240kg. Our beef is hung is our cool rooms for 7days prior to cutting and packaging, which relaxes the muscles and makes the beef even more tender. All cutting & packing is done in our on-farm facilities, which guarantees quality and that you get exactly what you order.
Like our lambs the beef are grazed on natural pastures and are supplemented natural silage when required, they are free of antibiotics and growth hormones.
The cattle are relaxed and happy which ensures their meat is relaxed, tender and fresh.
